Max and Pipa Adams have learned their two-year-old son is terminally ill. While heartbroken, Pipa has resigned herself to losing Dylan, and wants to minimze his suffering before his inevitable death. Max, however, is ready to try anything, even experimental treatments to save Dylan, or extend his life. But at what cost? A once loving couple become implacable adversaries, each of whom is sure they are right in their wishes for their son. What will happen to Pipa and Max after the end?
